Dawn, 10/1/97 Excellent! Recommended to those seeking their own psychic ability.
Very enlightening on my spiritual path to recognizing my own psychic
abilities. Educational and informative as well as reassuring to the budding
psychic within.
R.L.N., 07/09/97 Inspiring
Second Sight is incredibly moving in its honesty. Dr. Orloff brings the
psychic into the world that we have taken at first sight. She offers us
the vision that we are much more than the limited beings we've always thought
we are. She tells us that we can bring love and compassion even into the
most material aspects of our lives by embracing that part of us that society
has deemed unnatural. No unintelligible esoterica here, just the story of
one person's journey towards wholeness - a story that could be our own.
Highly recommended.
D., 03/13/97 A highly credible account
of psychic growth.
This is an impressive and credible account of one person's encounter with
her psychic self. The explanations and caveats were well thought out and
presented carefully. I never once had the feeling, while reading this book,
that I was being led down the psychic garden path. More books of this caliber
on this subject are desperately needed. What Dr. Orloff describes does indeed
exist in my opinion, and in my very limited personal experience. But, what
has continued to happen is that our psychic selves have been obscured by
the sensation-seekers. Dr. Orloff redresses this imbalance admirably. I
highly recommend this book.
