Hi People, Karen just blew me away. She is clearly a gifed woman who taught me a lot about energy & materialistic objects. This was an area I knew nothing about before. Her book is very clear & easy to read. I recommend this book to everyone. The only thing it does not get into much detail about is Feng Shui but the Space Clearing needs to be done before the Feng Shui set up anyway. Enjoy Everyone !!!! http://www.sensualforyou.com/site2

A reader from Austin, Texas , August 9, 1998 Excellent, but problematic
Ms. Kingston focuses almost entirely on a particular aspect of Feng Shui that seems to get left out of every other book I have read. She clearly explains everything she knows about this and her own personal experiences upon which it is all based. But, as useful as that is, it is also the beginning of the problem. She found her path, it seems, by herself. Her practice is based on what she learned for herself, by starting with learning to sense vibrational energies. The things she has accomplished with it on that basis are extraordinary; but she lacks a real grounding in tradition. Her practice is derived, in part, from traditional Balinese practices. It is not really Feng Shui, but instead has a dollop of the commonest bit tossed in at the end. She ultimately makes it clear that she does not understand what Feng Shui really is. But it isn't really her bailywick in the long run: What she does is absolutely excellent, but it must be recognized exactly where her strength lies. This is a book, based in Balinese tradition and the author's personal experience, about clearing the energy of a place. As that it is astonishingly excellent, beyond anyone's wildest hopes. But it is not about Feng Shui, which is a related but distinct tradition-- perhaps the one among all the related methods in the world which is most elevated to the level of a science.

A reader , July 15, 1998 Absolutely Excellent! I've read it three times!
A most meaningful, informative and instructive guide for helping to get your life on track. By clearing out the old 'stuff' that accumulates in our life- both material and emotional - that we hang onto for no reason, or for the wrong reason, Ms. Kingston shows that we can make room for more abundance and blessings to come to us. Written in a straight forward and easy to follow manner, I read the book once through first, then again as I prepared to do the Space Clearing, then again after as followup. I am already seeing the results in my life and recommending this book to friends who want to change their lives. Note: I also ordered THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO FENG SHUI... by Lillian Too. It was helpful, but should be read after this one by Ms. Kingston.

A reader , April 22, 1998 I think this will change my life . . .
I am just in the beginnings of this book, but it has changed me already. Believe me, I am not one for crystals and incense -- I'm as skeptical as the best of them. But her words -- they inspire even a cynic like me. I plan to begin the clutter-removal process this weekend and I'm actually looking forward to it, if you can believe it! By simplifying your space, you can ultimately simplify your life. This is absoultely an incredible find.

Ellen from Oslo, Norway , April 14, 1998 I can't wait to put it to practice!
This is one of the most action-inspiring books I have ever read. The part on clearing old clutter is especially motivating, so if you have closets, basements and attics full of things you almost never use and want to create space in your life for something fresh and new to arrive, read this book! The Space Clearing ceremonials sound refreshing, and I will definitely try them out. Imagine living in a space where every object has a special and uplifting meaning to you and where the energies are constantly refreshing and relaxing. This could be your home if you practice the simple advice given in this book.

A reader from Cheryl - New Orleans, LA , January 5, 1998 I am thoroughly enjoying it!!!!
I am in the middle of reading this book & am thoroughly enjoying it!!! I am looking forward to becoming clutter free - it's just that first thousand steps (it seems) to start & continue clearing clutter - the book is motivating me, though!!! I really enjoy her (Karen Kingston's) writing!!! - very easy, fun & interesting!!!

A reader from new zealand , September 9, 1997 you can cut the air with a knife
An excellent book. fully recommended. It was an uplifting experience to clear all the physical clutter then the emotional clutter started to move on. I feel alot better about my house, undoubtly the previous occupants had left behind their bad energy and it had effected our lives. Now I know how to deal with bad leftover energy each time I move and I will be leaving the next occupants my good energy. Hoping to meet the author in Bali

A reader , August 4, 1997 saved me from a life of impending-cluttered doom
This book was a life changer. Or, in my case, a life-saver. Pardon me if this review starts to sound like,"True Stories of a clutter-junkie", but that's exactly what I was. Yes, my name is Amy, and I am a recovering stuff-hoarder. But for all you other stuff-hoarders out there, there is help. This book is THE only motivation that has worked for me. And what the author says is true!! It really works!! You CAN clear your clutter, and you CAN create sacred space that other's simply adore. So buy the book, buy a bunch of garbage bags, buy a mop, and get ready to impress friends and loved-ones. After seeing the change my house took, even my mother-in-law wanted to stay and enjoy the space (Thanfully, the book also teaches you how to simply remove negative energy!! *:)*)

A reader , August 14, 1996 A highly readable and practical book on Feng Shui
Karen Kingston has produced a jewel of a masterpiece with this book. Not only is it easy to read and understand. Her writing style is such that it will not fail to uplift the readers spirit and motivate tham to carry out her recommendations for improving your life. The book provides a unique view of the art of changing life through the application of Feng Shui. Karen has an approach that melds together ideas, practices and traditions from many different cultures and thus providing a very holistic approach to a possibly daunting subject. Her recommendations are emminently practical and no reader can fail to feel the potential effect that they could have on thier life. Even for the sceptic, this book is highly recommended. A truly great book on an important subject from onbe of the worlds leading authorities.
