Synopsis
This book on CD provides a quick access to dreamwork, a
historical context and an abundance of resources and connections to
leading edge dream sharing in Cyberspace.
From the Author
I first went online in the early 1990's to research information
about dreams, but what I found instead was something far more
valuable: dreamers themselves. Many of these folks had never shared
dreams before, had never attended a seminar or workshop and never
been in any kind of dream oriented therapy. They wanted to talk about
their dreams and they wanted to be able to do so on a more profound
level than could occur at the office water-cooler. The virtual
community Electric Dreams was formed to address this need. A variety
of dream sharing techniques and groups were developed. But people
wanted more, some kind of historical context and insight into the
dreamwork techniques that have been used offline and by other
cultures and societies. I began offering a series of courses that
were intelligent, but short, easy to understand and immediately
useful in working with dreams. This course has evolved over the years
and is included in the CD, A Brief History of Dream Sharing.
As our networking online expanded, so did the resource base, and I
have included a searchable dream bibliography & resource
database. To understand the development and possibilities of dream
sharing on the Internet, I have also include a series of articles
tracing this development and offering valuable connections to the
online dream movement.

Clearly the finest publication of its kind.
Mr. Wilkerson continues to provide exceptional service to the world
dreaming community with this hallmark publication. I was particularly
impressed with the bibliography of over 5,000 titles on dreams and
dreaming. Not only it this CD a valuable source, it has direct links
to other sources around the globe.
