Since the archaeological discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1946, the word "Essene" has made its way around the world-often raising a lot of questions. Many people were astonished to discover that, two thousand years ago, a brotherhood of holy men, living together in a community, carried within themselves all of the seeds of Christianity and of future western civilization. This brotherhood-more or less persecuted and ostracized-would bring forth people who would change the face of the world and the course of history. About the Author
Born in France in 1964, Olivier Manitara is a spiritual teacher within the western tradition. He began, at a very young age, to instinctively practice exercises which would later prove to be spiritual in nature. In 1987, after a period of following several teachings, he decided to go on a three-year retreat, part of which was spent in the mountains of in the French Pyrenees. As a result of the intense experiences which he had undergone, he decided to devote himself entirely to the awakening of the human consciousness, and to freedom.
