Reviews:
A reader , July 15, 1998 Helpful guide
but not for the beginner
I've read a number of books on FengShui, and found this book beautifully
illustrated. It offered many details about the background and different
types of feng shui methods, which while informative could be very confusing
to a beginner. I agree with the other reviewers that although it was reader
friendly, it offered few or too brief solutions and the possible need for
another book. Perhaps her smaller books would be good companions to this
one. Just-A-Note: At the same time I bought this, I also ordered CREATING
SACRED SPACE with FENG SHUI, Learning the Art of Space Clearing by KAREN
KINGSTON. After reading both books, I consider SACRED SPACE to be a must
have, a book that should always be the first feng shui book anyone reads.
It can change your life.

Helpful as outline but incomplete
Visually stimulating presentation and easy, engaging text. Seems to be a
good introduction for the feng shui newcomer, however it leaves one hanging
ready to read the solution which is often sketchy, confusing, and ambiguous.

1998 "Must Have Book" for any Feng Shui reader
This is one of the best FengShui book I had ever read and possess. It is
a very useful book for Beginner's Level thru Advanced's Level. Author Lillian
Too had also published a very good set of small and handy Fengshui books.
Do look out for them.

1997 Great Background Introduction to Feng Shui
A beautifully presented and colourful book. Easy to read and provides an
indepth background to Feng Shui. This is great because it helps pull everything
together for a better understanding of some of the "rules". I
love having this book and share it a lot. Only down side is most of "cures"
are brief and now I have to look for a more "problem-cure" book
having identified a lot of possible problems.

The book is easy to read and comprehensive. The ancient Chinese Science
may sound rediculous at first, but I thought, "what can it hurt to
try?" I implemented some changes in our bedroom (career) region (block
poison arrow, remove plant from the career region to the wealth region),
and the place looked better immediately. Not bad for spending only $32.
The amazing thing is within 2 days of implementing the changes, my husband
received a bonus and a raise. Maybe it is coincidential, or maybe fung-shui
is an ancient science of ergonomic (fits surrounding to people). But hey,
it worked for me.
A reader , April 4, 1997 Skillfully written
and beautifully illustrated
This book is skillfully written and beautifully illustrated. The information
contained made it difficult to put the book down. Even a non-believer of
this ancient Chinese science might wonder if his/her placement of objects
around the home is auspicious or not!
A reader , January 29, 1997 Well Illustrated
and the information easy to follow.
This book is well Illustrated and the steps recommended in the corresponding
chapters are understandable and easy to follow. I have used the easy to
follow diagrams and chart to organize my home with great results. I recommend
this for those who've had experience with Feng Shui books reading like stereo
instructions to read this delightful book. Compared to others which great
technical and difficult charts and formulas to use, this book is Feng Shui
user friendly.
