The title of this four volume set is a little misleading. The series doesn't claim to be the revelation of some ancient document hidden through the centuries. Instead, it is largely composed of edited talks given by Mark and Elizabeth Clare Prophet covering various spiritual and metaphysical subjects that Jesus would not have neglected to teach his disciples. Students of yogic traditions will recognize many familiar subjects which are well interwoven with Christian traditions: reincarnation, prana, chakras.
Printed by Summit University Press, the publishing arm of the controversial Church Universal and Triumphant. I say "controversial" because there have been allegations of impropriety within the church. But much of the material they produce seems to be spiritually noble. At the very least, the writings of Mark and Elizabeth Prophet are always thought-provoking and engaging. Read with a discriminating mind and a sensative heart. You be the judge of its validity.
