L., 07/08/97 I dread the day I finish this
book
I can't believe I waited so long to buy this wonderful book. Somehow, the
author artfully blends tips on gardening & homemaking with how to get
organized and have more love & satisfaction in your life. This book
is a treasure. Buy it for yourself, your mom, and any other woman over age
30 that you care about.
M.O., 07/08/97 Noting the beauty of everyday
life
Sarah Ban Breathnach has literally taken me by the hand and shown me the
beauty that has always surrounded me. Her vitality is contagious and I send
my heart felt thanks to her. From cultivating an indoor garden to creating
scents in my home that remind me how lucky I am to be alive. Congratulations.
A great book.
C.D., 07/06/97 A Must-Read for Every
Woman
I bought the book in June and have just caught up to this day. I plan on
reading each day's chapter and also review all other chapters each day. This
is the most helpful book I've found. In just one month it has changed my
outlook on life completely! I have been a pessimist for 47 years and am
now becoming an optimist. I look at each day entirely different now.Thank
you so much Ms. Breathnach for helping me to make my life richer and happier.
E., 06/18/97 Every woman should read
this book and refer to it often.....
As a mother of 4 who works out of the home full-time, I can't tell you how
much I could relate to this book! I enjoyed it so much, I had to tell everyone
I know about it (okay, just the women I know). I gave a copy to both my
sister and my mother and they rave about it, too.
If you have the feeling that life is just too busy, too hectic, and too demanding for your tastes, pick up this book and start reading. Give yourself a treat!
S.J.R., 06/10/97 It has changed my way
of thinking.
I finally found the book at my local library about a month ago. And in one
month my life has changed. I still have my good and bad days but, the good
ones are starting to out number the bad. I have only reached February 14th,
but I have learned so much. I have started to reach my inner strengths and
have started to understand who I am. Some days it is hard to find things
that I am truly grateful for and somedays it is easy. But, what I have found
is that I am trying to help other people find what they don't realize they
are grateful for. We are all tired, stressed, overworked, underpaid, unappreciated,
but, we all have a million and one things in our lives that we should be
grateful for. Just remember that there are always people that are much worse
off then we are. Most of all I am grateful for hearing about this wonderful
book on the Oprah show. It has changed my way of thinking, the way I see
things, the way hear things, the way I smell things, the way I taste things,
and most of all the way I judge everything around me.
D., 06/05/97 The eyes of my eyes are
now wide open.
Thank you for this very refreshing view on life. This book is a must for
every woman. I think that this book puts a lot of things in perspective
and teaches us to be truly thankful for all the important things in our
lives. If we all started thinking and living in this manner, the world would
truly a better one and all barriers would begin to fall. I now celebrate
life each day and you can too. Thank you Sarah.
