Reviews:

I.G., 8/7/98, Christmas and Easter are revealed to be rich with meaning on many levels.

While reading the first chapter, The Feast of the Nativity, I found myself stunned by how much I have always taken for granted in the story of Jesus' birth. Aivanhov unfolds the mystical meanings of the key symbols in the Nativity: Mary and Joseph, the inn and the stable, the Three Magi, their three gifts, the presence of the ox and the ass. The more I read, the more I realized that the Nativity is neither a pleasant children's Christmas story nor a mere historical recounting of the birth of Jesus. Aivanhov describes it as a map for the initiate, a spiritual recipe for those who wish to give birth to the Christ Child within themselves... Powerful and thought provoking.
